Shawna was born and raised in Marion, Kansas and has worked in the medical field for more than 15 years. Her medical career includes experience in intensive care, emergency medicine, the operating room, and gastroenterology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wichita State University. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) and also completed her post-doctorate Family Nurse Practitioner certificate through Maryville University. Shawna works at McPherson Center for Health and is the founder and medical director of S&S MedSpa, where she is passionate about helping patients feel confident, healthy, and empowered.

She has been married to the love of her life for nearly 20 years and is a proud mom of two daughters. Outside of work, Shawna loves spending time with her family, cheering on her girls at their sporting events and school activities, traveling whenever possible, and spending summer days at the lake water skiing with family and friends. She especially enjoys cruising and finding opportunities to relax and recharge through travel.

Carly is a licensed esthetician, laser technician, and Image Skincare Verified Provider dedicated to helping clients maintain radiant, healthy skin while creating a relaxing and luxurious experience. She graduated from McPherson High School and attended Bellus Academy, where she completed her esthetics training. Carly is known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and her ability to create treatments that leave clients feeling relaxed, refreshed, and confident. She loves educating clients on skincare and helping them feel confident in their own skin while making every visit feel like a time of self-care and renewal. Born and raised in McPherson, Carly loves being involved in her local community and building relationships with the clients she serves. She brings a fresh, fun energy to S&S MedSpa and is often the creative mind behind social media content on TikTok and Instagram.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend, going to concerts, taking trips to Table Rock Lake during the summer, cooking and baking, shopping, and of course always having the cutest nails in the room.

Emmy was born and raised in Marion, Kansas and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2023 with a degree in Biology/Pre-Med and Spanish. As a medical aesthetic assistant and laser technician at S&S MedSpa, Emmy helps create a welcoming and organized experience for every client from the moment they walk through the door. She is often the friendly voice patients hear on the phone or through text and plays a key role in patient follow-up and supporting the weight management program through surveys and communication. Her outgoing personality, strong organization, and down-to-earth approach help clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their experience.

Emmy is passionate about patient care and plans to attend medical school with the goal of becoming an OB/GYN.

Outside of the spa, Emmy is an avid traveler and has spent time volunteering in Guatemala. You can also find her helping at her family’s restaurant, The Wagon Wheel Express, and working at St. Luke Assisted Living in Marion.
